Kenneth P. Neilson: Frederic Ewen Collection 1964-1989

Kenneth P. Neilsen is an educator, artist, composer publisher and author, and was a Friend of Frederic Ewen (1899-1989), a professor of English from Brooklyn College who was forced to resign in 1952 because of his progressive politics and resistance to McCarthyism, and who later formed a theater company that produced plays. The collection contains correspondence, notes, apparently for a speech at a memorial service for Ewen, clippings, playbills, and a list of books by Neilson.
